The area is recognized as the "Golf Capital of the World" and "America's Premier Desert Resort." The airport is conveniently located near the center of Palm Springs, only 2 1/2 miles from the downtown area, the Palm Springs Convention Center and numerous hotels.

From Los Angeles, travel east on Interstate 10 to the Gene Autry Trail off ramp (also labeled Palm Drive/Desert Hot Springs, turn right on Gene Autry Trail and travel south to Ramon Road, turn right on Ramon Road and travel west to the Airport Entrance Road and follow the signage to the terminal.

From Indio/Phoenix, travel west on Interstate 10 to the Ramon Road off ramp, turn left on Ramon Road and travel west to the Airport Entrance Road and follow the signage to the terminal.
